In my bank file there is 'CHECK NUMBER= 11807' and this seems to be causing some issues with the renaming rules or doing anything to them. The software should replace equal signs on loading the file!

Also, I am noticing a bunch of banks name stuff like 'FUSED.COM * INV#148400' and having that asterisk in the name directly from the bank file makes renaming not work as it should. 
Maybe add it to the help manual on the website for what the correct format would be as I am not sure...

or you could simply add an option in settings for default characters that ProperConvert will remove and have it default for characters & = *
